We are supporting people who have been moved to better their communities, often against fearful odds. Their examples tend to evoke similar traits in others, and the movement multiplies.

Honest relationship with the earth

The love for each other leads us to recognize what’s needed. This turns us continually to the imperative of healing the environment so it can support us in ways that are healthy to us and the land. It leads us to the caring relationships our elders and ancestors have taught us about the earth. Our efforts to replenish the environment also rehabilitate the ancient wisdom of our traditional cultures.

Our love for and curiosity about others lead us to listen to people where they are. Beyond platitudes and lofty words about inclusion and diversity, our focus on fearless love in action has drawn people of diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.

Meeting a Universal Need

The desire for GCC arose from seeing so many people longing for community who could come together and be essential contributors to what they all needed. The experience of gathering to share ideas, dreams, and aspirations, and the richness that resulted from truly hearing each other, has led to powerful motivation and inspired collaborative action.
